Life beats down and crushes the soul and art reminds you that you have one” (Stella Adler)

This quote captures the essence and power of art. Artists owe to challenge society's norms and sterotypes, break down barriers and connect people. The role of an artist is to speak a universal language, which everyone at every corner of the world understands and connects to. I am passionate about activism through dance, dance is a powerful way of expression, that has always pussed boundaries, challenged and shaped cultures over the centuries.

I’m a London-based choreographer, performer, and dance facilitator working at the intersection of contemporary dance, research, and cultural storytelling. My practice is rooted in reimagining Ancient Greek tragedy for the present day—using the body as a site where myth, power, gender, and inherited trauma collide.

I hold a BA in Contemporary Dance and an MFA in Choreography from Trinity Laban, alongside a background in Fine Art and Conservation. This hybrid training shapes my approach to choreography as both material and meaning: I’m as interested in symbolism, structure, and collective dynamics as I am in sweat, rhythm, and sensation. Much of my work centres on storytelling and symbolism, exploring stereotypes, current societal dynamics and using the idea of the chorus as a political and emotional body in modern context.

I am the founder and director of Ikaros Dance Company and have over a decade of experience creating work, leading research processes, and facilitating movement across professional, educational, and community settings. Alongside my choreographic career, I currently work as a Dance Specialist in a secondary SEN school for autistic students and have extensive experience working with disabled and neurodivergent performers.

My movement language draws from contemporary dance, ballet, tango, Pilates, and somatic practices. I create work that is rigorous, inclusive, and unapologetically curious—where bodies think, collectives speak, and ancient stories refuse to stay in the past.
